Invited again to assist TLC Transitional Life Care, Pat Berube, the Director of Clear Light Institute, will show a profoundly inspiring film, followed by group discussion. She will also focus on The Five Wishes Document, accepted as a Durable Power of Attorney for health care in most states, and on writing Legacy Letters. Her experience, knowledge, and guidance will support participants in taking up and completing these essential preparations for the end of life. A short break will take place mid-way.


Pat Berube, RN, MA, is a teacher and the Director of Clear Light Institute in Fairfax, CA, a program supporting contemplative approaches to dealing with illness, death, and dying. Pat first started meditating over 30 years ago and has studied with Asian and Western teachers, including extensive training with Lama Palden, director of Sukkasiddhi Foundation, where she also teaches dharma. She holds a masters degree in counseling and nearly 40 years experience as a RN.
